"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Hot Wednesday!

Hot and sunny weather today!
We had a great and productive day!
In the morning we had our circle time and healthy snacks.
Next, we had our language arts where we reviewed name, sound and formation of I. Students practiced tracing and writing upper case and lower case I.

Next, we had a some literacy centers:
Students worked on matching upper case and lower case letters.

Students played a game where they placed the alphabet in correct order.

Students worked on building words or beginning sounds.

And finally they worked on writing their names on dry erase boards.

Next, we had our "Me" presentations. Thank you JKs for sharing a little bit about you!

In the afternoon we had math, where we practiced sorting and made this chart together!

In our UOI we read a book about sharing, title: "We Share Everything!"
Then we discuss about what are some things we can and can't share in our class:

Today students attended French class.
Have a great evening everyone!
