"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy First Day of Fall!

We had a great day today!
We began the day with our first reading buddies of the year!
Once a week the gr. 3s will be joining our class to spend about 20 minutes reading to JK students. They all enjoyed!
In language we completed a journal sheet where students traced the sentence - Fall is colorful.
We discussed what kind of things we see outside during fall, what happens to the trees and what kind of food we can eat during fall.
In the afternoon we made a fall tree craft.
In math we started to talk about graphs and together we made a "What color is your backpack?" graph. We found out that we have more blue backpacks in the class.
Today students attended gym and French classes.
Have a great evening everyone and enjoy the sun!
