"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Great Second Day!

Almost no tears today! Yeahh!
Today we began the day with Art class with Miss. Kerr. Then we had our healthy snacks and washroom break. When we came in class, we had our morning circle time and calendar. Next, in math we talked about a group picture where students had to tell what they saw, the number of items and the colors by playing "I Spy". Then we had our hands on math activity, where students had different math manipulatives to sort, either by color or shape.
In language we attempted to do our daily five. Students worked on their writing by tracing the following sentence in their journals: "My first day of school!" and they also drew a picture of themselves. JKs also worked on recognizing the letters of their name by using letter magnet to place on their name tag.
In our UOI we talked again about good manners, listened to a short story from Bareinsten Bears and drew a picture showing how we can have good manners at school.
Today students attended French and Gym classes.
Have a great evening everyone!

*Please, wear house colors tomorrow.
