"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Thursday!

We sure are enjoying the hot days! Students are making great use of our outdoor space during recess! Lots of running and playing!
We began the morning with Art class with Miss. Kerr. Then students participated in our morning circle time and had their healthy snacks.
In the morning we sang our phonics song and completed a page to practiced writing the letter U (upper and lower case).
Then we finished our fall tree from yesterday.
In the afternoon we started a small project of students self portrait made with clay. JKs will be working on that tomorrow as well.
Next we had our math time where we played pretend restaurant in class and as students interacted with each other they were encouraged to choose 2 items and ask: do prefer _______ or ________? and then tell me the item their friend like the most.
Today students attended French and Gym classes.
