"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Thursday!

Today we had a fantastic day!
We began the day with Art class, circle time and healthy snacks.
In language arts we had our daily five - work on writing - where students wrote in their journals about their favourite food. We are getting better at tracing! Students who are already comfortable with tracing, are encouraged to copy the sentence from the board.
In math/language we cut out letters and numbers, then students were encouraged to sort them out and paste in the correct category.
In our UOI we read a book titled: What I do Best?
After reading the book, students shared what they think they are good at.
Have a great evening everyone and I hope to see you at the BBQ.

Ready for some singing!

Our work from the beginning of the week!
