"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Great Tuesday!

We had fun today!
We began our day with Art class with Miss. Kerr. Then we had snacks and morning circle time.
In Language we had our daily five activities. Today students participated in writing on dry erase books using thick markers (great for fine motor skills and get the printing going!), students worked on putting an alphabet beginning sounds together, read to self and one another and finally they played a game in order to find the letter of their names.
In Math we had sorting stations in the class where students sorted math counters such as buttons, bears, dinosaurs and frogs.
In our UOI we talked about what words we use to describe a person. Students helped by looking at each friend and describing him/her. It was cute to see how we are getting to know each other in just 10 days of school!
Today we had some time to play with play dough.
JKs attended French and Gym classes today.
Have a great evening everyone!
