"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Tuesday!

I'm glad somehow we got the mud situation in control! Students are now having recess in the sports court. They still got lots of space to run and play. :)
Today our day was a little different. We began the day with art class, snacks and circle time.
In language we went on a letter hunt identifying all upper case and lower case Hs.
Then students completed their journal by finishing the sentence "H is for...". We wrote a list of words with pictures on the board and students got to pick a words of their choice and then draw the picture.
In the afternoon we had a special guest: The Dairy Farmers of Ontario. The facilitator explained to the students how we get the milk from cows and she also talked about healthy eating choices that come from milk. Ms. Bannon's class joined us!
To finish off the day we practiced for our Christmas Concert, attended gym and French classes and practiced for our Science Fair presentation.
Have a great evening!
