"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Thursday!

We had a fun day!
We began our day with Art class with Mrs. Kerr, snacks and circle time.
In language we worked on beginning sounds where students had to cut and paste matching the pictures that had the same beginning sound.
In math we started our unit on shapes. We went on a shape hunt around the school and we found shapes along the way. Everyone participated really well!
Next, we had centers with magnet letters, numeracy using pipe cleaner and beads,  dry erase boards and books, alphabet matching upper and lower case, stamps and numeracy again matching the correct amount of clothespin with the number.
To finish off the day we had French class and story time.
Have a great evening everyone!
