"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Friday!

What a cold day today!
Again, just a reminder that our school backyard is very muddy. Please, send your child in either snow boots or rain boots. The weather is getting colder, please, send in hats, mittens and scarves. Don't forget to label ALL your child's winter gear.
Today we began the day with our monthly morning assembly where a student from each class received a learner profile award.
Then students head back to class to start our routine. In language/UOI we read the story The Little Red Riding Hood, we discussed as a class and then completed an activity related to the story, where students looked at the picture and matched the beginning sound.
In math we reviewed the 2d shapes and completed a shape graph by counting each shape.
To finish off the day we had the Show and Tell presentations and French class. Today students also attended gym class.
Have a fantastic weekend and stay warm!
