"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Monday!

What a sunny day we had today!!!
We began our morning with circle time and snacks.
In language we met our new animal friend Nicky Narwhal. We sang our phonics song and completed a page to practise correct formation of N.
Next, we went on a letter hunt, trying to find all upper case and lower case Ns in the page using the bingo dauber to stamp.
In Math we worked on a number booklet. Students represented and wrote numbers 1-10.
In the afternoon we read stories and we started our second unit of inquiry. In this second unit of inquiry students will learning  that arts elements can be used to convey messages and influence our emotions.
Having fun with Pet the Cat!
