"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Thursday!

Today we had a great day!
We began the day with art class with Mrs. Kerr, snacks and morning circle time.
In language we completed our journals. Students were instructed to draw a picture of something that begins with the letter B. Then attempt to write the word.
Next, we worked on matching upper case and lower case letters. For early finishers we had reading groups.
In Math we reviewed sorting as a class and then students worked in groups using math manipulatives to sort by color, shape and or size.
To finish off the day we had centers and prize box. :)
Today students attended French and gym classes.
Have a great evening everyone!
