"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Tuesday!

Today we began our day with art class, snacks and morning circle time.
In language arts we sang our phonics song and reviewed name, sound and formation of B.
Next, we did a sequence activity where students looked into the life cycle of apples. They all had fun cutting and pasting the pictures from the apple seed to the apple pie.
In math we worked on our numeracy unit. Students cut and paste pictures of apples and then matched into the correct number. Great for counting, number recognition, number sequence and fine motor skills!
For our UOI we had centers. Today we had a variety of puzzles and how great it was to see students working together to figure the puzzles out!
Have a great evening everyone!

*Playground situation: dear parents, our playground is becoming really muddy, as you may have noticed by looking at your child's uniform. Please, keep in mind that students are encouraged to wear boots and they need 3 pairs of shoes (outdoor shoes -  preferable boots, black indoor shoes and gym indoor shoes). The black shoes and the gym shoes are to be left in the school at all times. Thank you for your co-operation! :)
