"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. Happy Monday

What a beautiful fall weather today!
We began the day with our morning routine of calendar, weather and songs. After snack time we met a new friend for our letter of the week: Mickey Monkey. Students helped me making a list of words that begin with M. Then we sang our phonics song for the letter M and completed a worksheet to helps us to remember correct formation of M. Next, students participate in reading groups with me, where they practice reading blends, short words and 3 word sentences.
In Math we continued with our unit on shapes. Today students created the 2d shapes using play dough and shape mats.
In our UOI we read a book and reflected on it. Students participated by asking and answering questions relevant to the story.
To finish off the day we practiced our song for the Christmas concert with Ms. Bannon's class.
Have a great evening everyone!
