"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Thusday!

Today we began the day with art class and snacks.
Then we had our morning circle time, which involved our calendar, counting to 100th day of school, weather and songs.
In Language Arts we worked on beginning sounds for the following letters: s, c, p, h, g, p, w and b.
In Math we reviewed what a pattern is and built abab patterns using lego blogs. Everyone did a good job!
In our UOI we talked about what we know about animals, take a look at student's answers:
Peter - "some animals have horns"
Zoya: "butterflies fly!"
Olivia: "zebra have patterns"
Fatema: "tigers have tails"
Noah: "ducks eat bread"
Saraya: "some animals hop"
Damien: "some animals eat grass"
Scarlett: "some live in the barn"
Leah: "some animals live in the wild grass"
Sarah: "dog's noses are funny"
Denise: "fish swim in the water"
Ariana: "Owls stay awake in the night"

Have a great evening!
