"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Monday!

Nice sunny day today!
We began our morning with music class - SJA is looking into implementing music classes with art classes - students seemed to enjoy the music class using different instruments.
Next, students came in class, we had morning circle time and snacks.
In language we met a new animal friend: Dexter Donkey. Students learned our phonics song for letter D and then we practiced writing upper and lower case D.
We also made a list of words that begin with D.
After lunch we worked on our math/UOI units. Students sorted living things and non living things. They all worked really well together! Great job JKs!
Have a great evening everyone!
