"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Fun Thursday!

We had a fantastic Thursday!
We began the day with art class, snacks and morning circle time.
In language arts we worked on short vowel "A" word families. Students had to cut and paste the correct picture into the correct ending sound box: AN and AT. They practiced sounding the following words: hat, pan, mat, van, can, rat, fan and cat.
In math we made pattern mittens using colorful strips of paper and gluing on a mitt template.
In our UOI we played a guessing animal game.
Have a great evening everyone!
