"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Friday!

This was us today... :)
- Gym class
- Snack and morning circle time
- Journals - Daily Five (work on writing) - students copied the sentence from the board: "This is me." and then drew a picture of themselves. I liked to see students using finger space between the words and period at the end of their sentence. These are good writing habits to learn at young age. :)
- Lunch and recess
- Story time - Daily Five (listen to reading)
- Math/UOI - we finished our UOI bulletin board by cutting and pasting types of transportation into the correct category.
- Lunch and recess
- Pack up
- Monthly assembly (students received the IB Learner Profile awards and we played a house game)
Have a great weekend everyone!

*I have put a couple of pages for homework in your child's agenda. :)
