"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Busy Wednesday

Awesome weather today!!
That's how our day went...
- Gym - no gym today as Mr. Slick had a field trip with the older grades, instead we danced and sang in the class :)
- Morning circle time and snacks
- Language/UOI - we talked about our unit on animals and reviewed what we already have learned about insects. Students then completed an activity where they had to draw the picture of 4 insects and then write (more like copying from our insect list) the names.
- French with Mme. Jessica
- Lunch and recess
- Story time with Ms. Reta (our wonderful TA)
- Math/UOI - we played a game where we sorted together as a class places where insects live and places where insects can't live, after sorting we counted them. Next, we made pattern caterpillars where students used stickers to create a pattern.
- Language - we practiced the poems
- 2nd lunch and recess
- Story time
- Pack up
- Music class with Mrs. Kerr
- Pick up time

Have a great evening everyone and enjoy the weather!
