"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Thanksgiving!

I wanted to thank you for your participation in our Thanksgiving Food Drive!
Today we started the day off with art class with Mrs. Kerr. Then students had snacks and morning circle time led by the special helper.
In language we reviewed name, sound and formation of A. Then students completed a page where they practiced tracing and writing the upper case and lower case A.
In the afternoon students helped me sort the items donated for the food drive. We talked about how blessed we are to have abundance of food and how we can help the less privileged children.
Next, we came in the class and made little pumpkins using clay and had the Show and Tell presentations.

To finish off the day we had some time to use play dough and lots of play dough cutters.
Today students attended gym and French classes.
Have a great Thanksgiving and enjoy your family!
